Description

Tiny house Robert is a sanctuary for when you’re craving the great outdoors. Surround yourself in a beautiful natural setting, the perfect spot to stargaze, and plenty of space to wander.  Named after Robert Jordan in Ernest Hemingway’s For Whom The Bell Tolls, a stay at this tiny house is a good reminder to live for today, “Oh, now, now, now, the only now, and above all now, and there is no other now but thou now and now is thy prophet.”

Go on, get out there!

Location

Tiny house Robert lives on a 10,000 acre property in southwest NSW and is a super quick 30 mins from Canberra, or just under 3 hours from Sydney. Robert is a world away from the city hustle with beautiful views across the valley and sweeping paddocks. Unwind by the dam and take in the beautiful landscape including a windmill and loads of wildlife.

The nearby local town is a charming rural escape filled with arts and antiques, delicious restaurants and cafes, and the surrounding area is filled to the brim with delicious produce - chestnuts, truffles, biodynamic wineries and more. On route to Robert, stop in at the local town and stock up on flavoursome produce and then escape to your haven. It’s quiet, rejuvenating and is a great place to reconnect with your loved ones.

Tiny house Robert sleeps four with a Queen bed in the loft and two single beds downstairs. We provide bedding, linen + towels, USB charger, bar fridge, hot shower, toilet, fan + heater, stovetop + BBQ, fire pit, cutlery, plates, outdoor seating, books, board games and  basic provisions such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, drinkable water, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, matches and oil. Bring only food & drinks. Our tiny houses are powered by the sun and gas bottles, so don't expect to charge your laptop or plug in any appliances, but there is a small USB charger that may work if the sun is shining!  Please note the single beds are set up on an “L” shaped lounge. One of the single beds (i.e. one side of the lounge) is perfect for children, but adults may find it a little tight. The other side comfortably sleeps 1 adult).
