Edmond Dantes is the star of The Count of Monte Cristo. Edmond is a simple man who is framed for a crime he did not commit and turns to vengeance to heal his wounds. A fascinating read that tears at our heart-strings, not unlike our dear Edmond who remains bitter from being deployed second (after Christopher)!

Edmond is less than 120 mins drive south of Sydney in the gorgeous Southern Highlands of NSW. Edmond is one of our most popular and breathtaking properties. Edmond is located on a gorgeous secluded 100 acre hideaway overlooking a brilliant escarpment with a spacious and secluded lush green paddock all to yourself (except for a few friendly cows and some wombats). The Southern Highlands is famous for its epic landscape, amazing waterfalls and fresh country air. There is also a cheese factory, good coffee, fine food and wine all nearby! Note a short 250m walk may be required if raining. The perfect property for couples, families, and friends looking to getaway and relax (full mobile reception).

Edmond sleep 2 to 4 with a Queen loft and a two singles downstairs. We provide Bedding, Linen + Towels, USB charger, Cold Fridge, Hot Shower, Toilet, Fan + Heater, Stove + BBQ, Fire Pit + Outdoor Stove, Cutlery + Plates, Outdoor seating, Books + Games and Provisions (soap, shampoo, conditioner, drinkable water, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, matches and oil). Bring only food & drinks. There is phone reception. Our tiny houses are powered by the sun and gas bottles so don't expect to charge your laptop or plug in any appliances, but there is a small USB charger that may work if the sun is shining!

Please note the single beds are set up on an “L” shaped lounge. One of the single beds (i.e. one side of the lounge) is perfect for children, but adults may find it a little tight. The other side comfortably sleeps 1 adult).

Unfortunately Tiny House Edmond is situated on a working farm with livestock, so has a strict no pets policy - sorry!

In conclusion, highly recommend. •Great location surrounding by the mountains. • Easy access with detailed pre instruction from in2thewild. •No WiFi but enough 4g connection. •Easy 10 min drive from town of Robertson • A bit struggled to connect gas • We were very lucky as the weather was perfect but I do not know what’s going on when it’s raining outside

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this tiny home. We loved the location - on a hilltop with stunning views and no other homes or people in sight. We felt a world away from everything yet could be in town with a short drive to enjoy the incredible food that Robertson has to offer (a visit to Moonacre is a must!) Highly recommend a stay here to reconnect with nature and unplug for a few days.

Completely off grid into the wilderness

The tiny house still feels like brand new. It's very clean and has all the essentials for a short getaway. We're completely immersed into the wilderness with no one else around us at all. You can really feel you're connected back into the nature.

This a very special place. Very private and beautiful. The gorgeous tiny house is sitting on the top of a hill and not even an other house can be seen. While it’s in the middle of nature the shops and pub of Robertson is only ten minutes drive away. We loved building a fire and cooking our dinner under the starts, then going inside enjoying the stylish little house’s comfort. The house has everything you need inside and it is quite spacious for 2 people. We will be back for sure!

Minimalist, simplicity, nature, warm, cosy, beautiful, serene and joyful. Tiny house that packs alot of comfort and warmth and joy to realise what it is that is really valuable in life. The sunrise, the sky, the mountains, the green grass, the birds, the fire, the mist, no buzzing of TVs or Wi-Fi, just peaceful sounds of nature and some silence and stillness, the company of your loved ones is what makes this place so amazing. You can find this anywhere but here at the tiny house it is vivid and more present alongside the luxuries of a warm shower, fridge, board games, warm cosy bed and window lounge, cup of tea/coffee when you want to retreat inside from the heat/cold/hot sun. Charming and beautiful decor inside to make you feel like you are a part of something that can feature in a travel magazine or blog. Simple and serene to make you feel like you can really feel like you are one with nature and get the grounding and serenity so that you remember what it is like to just be.

Spent 2 nights at this wonderful hilltop cabin with excellent views. Was the perfect getaway from chaotic city life waking up to the sounds of nature and gazing at starry nights. Was definitely an in2thewild experience. Very refreshing, with all basic amenities included in the package, would love to be back sometime again
