Pet Terms and Conditions

To ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of all guests, In2thewild has a standard set of terms and conditions for those who wish to bring their pet to a pet-friendly In2thewid Tiny House. You are taking your pet to a rural property where there is likely to be potential dangers such as barbed wire, bushes, wildlife, water hazards etc.

  • Pets are permissible only at pet-friendly locations.
  • If you bring a pet to a non-pet-friendly location you may be charged up to $500 as a cleaning fee. Our non-pet friendly locations are usually due to the fact that the property is a working farm, and domesticated animals place a biohazard risk on the farm's operations. Also, we take the hygiene of our tiny houses very seriously and some guests may choose a non-pet friendly house for allergy-related reasons.
  • Pets include dogs and cats – any other pets may only be allowed by written request.
  • Pets of all sizes are welcome at pet-friendly houses, except for Isabella, Alice and Jemima, where only smaller pets are allowed (under 20kg as a general rule).
  • For health and safety reasons:
    • Small pets (under 20kg) are permitted downstairs only in the Tiny House
    • Large pets (over 20kg) are NOT permitted inside the Tiny House
  • You are responsible for your pet's safety. Neither In2thewild nor the Land Owner are liable for injury to (or death of) your animal due during your stay. By booking with In2thewild, you recognise and accept this responsibility.
  • Pets must be on a leash (no more than 2m in length) at all times outside the Tiny House.
  • Pets must be supervised at all times and must not be left unattended (especially inside the Tiny House).
  • Guide dogs are always welcome and exempt of charges.
  • No more than two pets may be bought to any property at any time.
  • All pet food and amenities must be provided by the pet owner (for example you are to bring your own dog blankets etc).
  • All pets must be up to date with their vaccinations and flea treatments.
  • Pets are allowed on the indoor furniture as long as a dog blanket is used, otherwise, you will be charged a cleaning or replacement fee.
  • Pet owners are 100% responsible for picking up and disposing of their pet’s waste in a sealed ‘doggy doo’ plastic bag and removing from the property.
  • For health and safety reasons, pets must not be washed or cleaned anywhere within the accommodation area (unless a designated pet wash area has been provided).
  • Pet owners are personally responsible, and will be held to be so, for any and all personal injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions caused by or because of their pet (this includes to wildlife or livestock on the property).
  • Pet owners are liable for any damages caused by your pet. This includes: damage to the Tiny House, surrounding land, landowner assets; damage to or loss of animals (including both wildlife and livestock).
  • Dogs may only be walked in the designated area surrounding the Tiny House.
  • We encourage you to be very careful with your animal around wildlife and make sure they do not enter any wombat holes or threaten any animals.
  • The pet owner must agree that In2thewild reserves the right to evict any guests whose pet is deemed noisy, disruptive, and aggressive or is the subject of a complaint/s from other guests. It is the pet owner’s sole responsibility to control and manage their pet. If in the view of In2thewild this has not happened to an acceptable level, the owner and the pet may be evicted immediately.
