To put your mind at ease, we have provided additional information for your In2thewild experience, and we are adhering to government and public health guidance.
Easy and flexible date changes - If you are unable to travel because of restrictions, or you test positive for Coronavirus, we will offer you the opportunity to change your dates. Where this isn’t possible, we can offer you credit to the value of your booking so that you can redeem at a time that suits you.
Keeping everything squeaky clean – Our housekeepers are taking extra measures to keep you safe during your stay. Considering current events, we have advised all housekeepers to take additional measures including wearing masks and gloves while cleaning, ensuring the tiny houses are well-ventilated between guests and placing Koala Eco hand sanitiser in every property.
We’re here for you – Our friendly team are available seven days a week to answer any questions you may have. If an announcement impacts your booking, please give us 48 hours to contact you to rearrange; we will prioritise immediate bookings in these circumstances.
We’re looking after regional Australia – The last few months have been tough on everyone, including rural communities who depend on tourism. Booking an In2thewild escape is a great way to show your support and lend a helping hand. We will also be proactive in protecting these communities if cases start to rise, and we will contact guests to discuss alternative options if this happens.

My booking is impacted by new restrictions, what do I do?
Our team are working diligently to stay up to date on the latest updates issued by each state. Following new announcements, if they impact our properties, we will endeavour to contact you via email within 48 hours of the announcement to discuss your options and answer any questions you may have.
If you are not contacted by our team after 48 hours of an announcement that you believe impacts your bookings, please email our reservations team.
How can I be sure the tiny house/tent will be clean?
All our properties continue to undergo a thorough clean as part of the changeover between bookings. Considering current events, we have advised all housekeepers to take additional measures including wearing masks and gloves while cleaning, ensuring the tiny houses are well-ventilated between guests and placing Koala Eco hand sanitizer in every property.
What to do if I develop COVID-19 symptoms whilst I am on holiday?
If you feel unwell before your escape, please contact our reservations team who will seek to find alternative arrangements for your stay.
If you are staying at one of our properties and develop symptoms, please contact our reservations team who will advise you to return home and self-isolate in accordance with current government guidance.
What should I do when I check out?
In2thewild are working towards reducing the potential risk for our housekeeping teams, therefore we kindly ask that you leave the property in a timely manner to allow housekeepers to access the property and carry out an uninterrupted deep clean.
To further help with this, while we always ask guests to take their rubbish with them, it is now more important than ever that you do. A cleaning fee will be charged if you don't.
If you feel unwell within 14 days following your stay, we request that you contact our reservations team, so that we can take the necessary measures to eliminate any potential spread of the virus.
