An escape into the wild isn’t just about the destination. It’s about getting on the road, supporting local Aussie communities, and finding freedom in nature.

That’s why we’ve put together our top tips for making the most out of your stay at Tiny Mowgli.

Tip One: Local Produce

Gloucester Farmers Market.

There’s nothing better than arriving at your stay with a seasonal selection of fresh, locally grown produce.

Located about 15km from your stay, Gloucester Farmers Market is your one-stop destination for picking up an array of locally grown produce, grass-fed beef, natural honey, and local artisanal goods.

Tip Two: Local Wine

Any of the locals will tell you that the secret to enjoying the area is a perfectly matched food and wine pairing. Grown in rich volcanic soil, the local grapes produce a varying array of wines sure to tantalise your buds. Visit our two recommendations before bunkering down for the night.

Faulls Ridge Winery.

If you’re after a family-owned vineyard specialising Verdelho, Rose, and Chambourcin/Shriaz, Faulls Ridge Winery is for you.

Gloucester River Wines.

Gloucester River Wines is for organic wine lovers. Using only organic principles and free from any synthetic chemicals, be sure to stop off at the best local organic vineyard in the area.

Tip Three: Adventure

It’s no coincidence that we’ve coined Tiny Mowgli our adventure house. Barrington Tops is renowned for its adrenaline-fueled fun, so there’s plenty of activities to get your heart pumping.

Gloucester Tops Circuit.

For a heavy dose of nature, take a hike around Gloucester Tops Circuit. With a mix of ancient rain forests and dense snow gum, the walk transports you away from modern life.

Adrenaline Junkie.

For those looking to take the adventure up a notch, opt for abseiling, kayaking or mountain biking.

We can’t wait to see what you get up to on your stay at Tiny Mowgli.
